Comments: Heavy falls and a possible thunderstorm awaits runners tomorrow at Belmont Park, and with a tough little card mapped out I think we will be playing pretty safe. Hard to go past the recent performances of Top Show – it was a brave battle to the line last start conceding Keysbrook 2 ½ kgs and missing by a nose – we picked the swing in the weights to advantage Keysbrook in that race, and with the impost balance narrowed, we’ll go the other way in this one. When Star Of Husson got caught three wide early last start and was forced forward to sit outside the leader with no cover – we knew we were doomed – but credit to the horse who put in a big performance to run out the race – probably preferring further than the Guineas mile, but has an explosive finish so expect to see it flashing late, while our “Weather Man” Mr Burrows is very keen on the chances of McFlirt 6yo McBlitzem, and I can see why – drops in class here after being blocked for a run last weekend and still got within two lengths of victory – that was a race of many fine efforts – it’s was one of them…

Multi: Four winners and no Multi really hurt last weekend, and this looks harder: Top Show ($2.30) into Wild Stratus ($2.40) into Star Of Husson ($9.00) = $49.68

OZ Racing: No runners at Belmont this weekend.
