The timing of this opportunity is not good given we have bought a couple of recent. However, that is out of our hands, and it is not every day you get the chance to buy into a performed European stayer that will run 3200 metres.

So, we have joined OTI Racing to race the French stayer Rider In The Snow, who will be trained by Kris Lees in NSW.

He is a 5YO gelding who has won three races (two over 3000 metres) and been placed 6 times from 10 starts.

For our newer partners and followers, for a number of years, OZ Racing was involved with OTI Racing buying shares in their European horses. We have had great fun winning Group races and competing at the highest level:

Au Revoir – winner of the Toulese Derby in France – winner of the Grand Prix de Clairefonteine in France – winner of the Group 2 Zipping Classic at the Spring Carnival and ran 8th in the Melbourne Cup (what a thrill)

Pakal winner of the Listed Cranbourne Cup – winner at Caulfield – 3rd in the Group 2 Carlyon Stakes and Listed Slick Pix Stakes – 5th in the Group 1 Mackinnon Stakes

Pemberley – winner of the Bairnsdale Cup – 3rd in the Group 2 Brisbane Cup – two times winner a Flemington – and ran 14th in the Group 1 Caulfield Cup

Count of Limonade – winner of the Moe Cup and Avoca Cup

Kitten On The Run, Caillebotte, Lunayr, Studio – Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane metro winners.

We have nothing but respect for Terry Henderson and his OTI Racing team.

Rider In The Snow has arrived in Melbourne and now doing his mandatory time in quarantine before he heads to Kris’s stables for his first Australian campaign.
