Racing Partnerships

The principal of OZ Racing, Bruce Saxild, is licenced with the Australian Securities and Investment Commission and Racing and Wagering Western Australia as a licenced dealer (racehorse syndicator) allowing us to offer for sale shares in racing partnerships.

OZ Racing’s objective is to race quality thoroughbreds in partnerships with like-minded individuals.

Our goals are clear:

  • To race metropolitan class race horses
  • Have our horses trained by the best in the business to give them every chance
  • To ensure our partner’s experience in racing a thoroughbred is enjoyable, knowledgeable and hopefully financially successful
  • To tell our partners the truth about their horse – good or bad

The majority of our partnerships have been formed without the need to advertise. Our strongest ally has been our network of owner’s word of mouth support.

We have partners scattered around Australia and overseas, including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Singapore, Malaysia and Dubai in the United Emirates.

Our partners include people from all walks of life, including, secretaries, school teachers, accountants, lawyers, gardeners, electricians, motor mechanics, nurses, public company directors, stock brokers, builders, business brokers, managers and retirees.

What we take as an endorsment of our services, we also have a number of leading Bookmakers and racing industry people involved in our partnerships.

Racing Management Services

Apart from the syndication of thoroughbreds, OZ Racing also provides management services and yearling selection and preparation for both local and overseas clients.

The services include handling the day to day management of horses for owners from the sale ring through to racing or in the case of our overseas clients right through to export.

The Manager – Bruce Saxild

Your racehorse will be managed by Bruce Saxild. Bruce has 30 years experience in the racing industry.

Bruce runs OZ Racing for fun, hence the reason our fees are very competitive.

Bruce is an Executive Director of a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. The company operates 16 businesses in Western Australia involved in a number of Industries.
